Shri Anantha Muthumariamman
The Pearl Mother — Goddess of Healing, Protection & Prosperity
Shri Anantha Muthumariamman is the presiding deity of our temple — the Pearl Mother who embodies infinite compassion, healing power, and divine protection. She is the source of all blessings, the destroyer of all suffering, and the eternal mother of all creation.
The Meaning
Muthu (Pearl) + Mariamman (Mother Goddess of Rain & Healing) = The Pearl Mother who brings life-giving rain, heals the sick, and protects the devoted.
When to Pray

The Eight-Armed Goddess of Victory & Divine Power
Sri Ashtabhuja Kaliamman is a powerful form of Goddess Kali, known as the "eight-armed" (Ashta-bhuja) goddess who embodies divine protection and ultimate victory. Sri Angala Parameshwari Periyaai Amman
Periyayi — Supreme Guardian Goddess of South India
Sri Angala Parameshwari Periyayi Amman is a powerful manifestation of Goddess Parvati/Kali, revered as a guardian deity (kaval deivam) primarily in South India. Known as Angalamman or Periyayi, She is worshipped for protection against evil forces and illness, and to grant boons to those who seek Her with sincerity and devotion.

She is primarily worshipped for fertility, prosperity, and protection against dangers including snake bites and illnesses — and is venerated by devotees seeking children and abundant blessings.
Sri Periyachi Amman
Fierce Guardian of Mothers, Children & Safe Childbirth
Sri Periyachi Amman is a fierce and protective Tamil goddess symbolising the divine guardian of mothers, children, and pregnancy — regarded as a manifestation of Kali or Parvati. She embodies fierce maternal love and righteous divine rage, protecting newborns, easing the pains of childbirth, and destroying evil forces that threaten children and their mothers.

Lord Ganesha
Lord of Beginnings, Wisdom & Remover of Obstacles
Ganesha is traditionally worshipped before any major enterprise. As the son of Shiva and Parvati, He symbolises wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles. His elephant head embodies knowledge while His human form channels cosmic creative energy — encouraging devotees to balance intellect with humility and overcome the ego to achieve spiritual growth.
Lord Shiva — Shiv Lingum
Mahadeva — Supreme Yogi, Destroyer of Ego & Cosmic Transformer
Lord Shiva, known as Mahadeva ("Great God"), is the Supreme Being in Shaivism and the Destroyer/Transformer within the Holy Trinity (Trimurti). Revered as the ultimate yogi meditating on Mount Kailash, He symbolises pure consciousness, the cosmic cycle of creation and dissolution, and the path to ultimate liberation (moksha). The Shiv Lingum is a sacred focal point for Abhishegam and deep spiritual connection.
Lord Hanuman
Epitome of Devotion, Strength & Selfless Service
Lord Hanuman is celebrated as the epitome of devotion (bhakti), strength, and selfless service — the loyal companion of Lord Rama in the Ramayana. A Vanara and son of the wind god Vayu, He represents courage and intellect, ever-present to protect those who call upon Him with a sincere and pure heart.
Navagraha Prayers
The Nine Planetary Forces — Shrine of Cosmic Balance
The Navagraha Shrine houses nine energised murthis representing the nine planetary forces. Nava means nine and graha means planetary energy or controller. These sacred effigies have been consecrated by specific mantras to promote beneficial astrological effects and counteract negative planetary influences in one's life. The nine include: Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Kuja (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Guru (Jupiter), Sukra (Venus), Sani (Saturn), Rahu, and Ketu.

A sacred wishing well fountain has been installed within the temple, dedicated to Goddess Shri Gangai Amman — symbolizing purity, renewal, and divine grace. Devotees may offer a coin, make a silent prayer, and experience a moment of deep reflection and spiritual connection.
The flowing water represents the cleansing power of the sacred Ganges — encouraging visitors to release their worries, find inner peace, and trust in the blessings of the Divine Mother. The continuous flow symbolizes the continuity of divine grace through all of life's seasons.
